About

I have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for more than 30 years.

In addition to my private practice,  I have returned to Tarzana Treatment Centers as  Program Coordinator for the Outpatient Department.  Prior to my being of service here, I was the Clinical Director of Manifest Recovery Centers, a privately funded, Detox and Residential facility in Woodland Hills. For 10 years prior to that, I was the  Coordinator of the Mental Health Department at Tarzana Treatment Centers’ Community Services and Programs. I held the position of Clinical Director at the non-profit, Center for Individual and Family Counseling, for 12 years before joining the Tarzana team. I am also an AAMFT Approved Clinical Supervisor and was an Adjunct Faculty member  at Phillips Graduate University for 11 years. I offer supervision and consultation for other professionals in the field.

I have been formally trained in family systems theory and did the majority of my clinical post graduate training on the Thalians 3-West Inpatient Psychiatric unit of Cedars Sinai Hospital. I also served as a Psychiatric technician at Hope Community Mental Health Center’s In-Patient Hospital Unit, serving the chronically mentally ill.

These experiences and my long history working in the non-profit community counseling sector, enable me to serve a diverse community, in an effort to embrace understanding and promote healing with a humanistic, client-centered focus.

I have dedicated my career to being of service, and look forward to working closely with you. I know that people can grow in profoundly positive ways.
